There's nothing quite as wonderful as feeling the first warm rays of spring sunshine on your face after a long period of cold and rain. It's so beautiful to see nature slowly waking up from its winter sleep and the first flowers growing through the barren leaves. It gives me new energy to create illustrations inspired by spring.
Waking up to the rising sun and the beautiful song of the blackbird in the morning makes you feel much more eager to get up compared to that irritating alarm clock in the winter. I try to take a walk every day along the orchards, fields and small forest behind our house. There is so much to observe in nature at this time of year: the skittish deer, the buzzards nesting high in the trees, the kestrels chasing each other, the beautiful little songbirds…
I created a spring collection featuring cards, notebooks, and a notepad. Additionally, I created a small sticker collection through StickerApp, a convenient and user-friendly platform for designing custom stickers. While I occasionally struggle to balance the commercial aspects with the artistic, it always warms my heart whenever someone purchases a card or another product from me.
